PayJoy, a top financial service provider to the underserved in emerging markets, is helping open the door to smartphones, finance, and the modern financial system. For those who have been traditionally excluded, PayJoy is helping the underbanked escape poverty and gain economic freedom. Leveraging The Key’s years of experience launching and elevating fintech brands, PayJoy chose to work with our team to develop a strategic communications program to help raise the company’s visibility among critical audiences, primarily investors.
What We Did
With a constrained hard news pipeline, we needed to get creative on ways to secure critical third-party validation for PayJoy highlighting innovation, leadership, and industry impact. The Key doubled down on awards that matter. Knowing our focus is to support PayJoy’s business goals, we dove deep into research - evaluating the current industry landscape for top-tier placements that would move the needle. The team developed a system to manage submission deadlines and requirements across a wide spectrum of awards, including innovation, banking and fintech, leadership, and key market awards across LATAM. Knowing each award submission is unique, the team utilized a storytelling arc to tackle each question and weave in concrete data and testimonials to support PayJoy’s mission to finance the next billion. The Key established a central source of truth with updated company stats and business momentum to make sure each submission reflected the overall business growth and best highlighted PayJoy’s driving forces.
